Honey Honey
A lively celebration of the iconic kiwi gold - Honey! The title was inspired by the Archies song ‘sugar, honey, honey’ have a listen.
Evidently us kiwi’s weren’t that keen on tucking into this sweet sticky delight because its packaging wasn’t all that appealing. The two honey companies at the time invested in educating us (in New Zealand) by setting up tasting stands in shops, giving talks in schools and writing cook books. Now we consume more honey per head (1.62kgs each year) than any other nation. Here’s my blend of nostalgia and kiwiana: the most enduring combination of all - sex and selling.

About the artist
I'm a contemporary artist; my romantic themes contemplate the passing of time, blending together a mixture of eclectic vintage sensibilities with modern atmospherics. My work is a witty and engaging style of painting, intelligently conceived with a comedic twist. Light and carefree, bold and immediate, each Rachael Foster piece is distinctive and innately feminine
